In all our front doors, we use the BS 2500 KFV multipoint lock. This 3-point locking mechanism runs throughout the whole side of the door leaf and locks the door in 3 places, tightly securing it with bolts and hooks. In terms of security, this type of lock is the most secure locking mechanism on the market at the moment.

Improved Energy Efficiency

Beyond security, KFV multipoint door locks also contribute to better energy efficiency in your home. The tight seal created by the multiple locking points helps to prevent drafts and heat loss, enhancing the overall insulation of your property.

Warping

Although this lock provides rigidity to the door frame, over time all doors react to weather and temperature difference inside and outside. We recommend locking your doors at all times, even if you are inside your home. If you do not lock the 3-point lock and only close the door, the door leaf will start to warp and bend, making your lock less efficient in the long-run and perhaps even unusable.
