The design and installation was efficient and professional from the start. After I’d sent my own rough measurements Dalius came round to measure properly and discuss a design. This was a reassuring and encouraging process. The quoted price was competitive. As a matter of fact it was the cheapest we’d received for a bespoke, specially manufactured door/window.

"The windows in our Gate House were single glazed, this resulted in enormous amounts of condensation every morning when the temperature outside was cold. Because of their shape replacement with double glazed sealed units was not easy, and not many companies can produce them in wood.
Woody Man looked at the problem and came up with answers in what was a box sash replacement of existing with new wooden slim sealed units.
Fitting meant breaking open the boxes to change the balance weights to compensate for the increased weight. The work was carried out with a lot of skill, the new wooden units were beautifully finished and fitting into the reveals with new seals was most successful.
Have waited to leave this review until the recent cold snap to be sure the new windows performed, which they certainly have done.
This is not an inexpensive operation, but the quality made it very worthwhile.

"Highly recommended. We saw the quality of the windows and doors fitted to our neighbour's house, and the care they took fitting everything. When they visited to provide the quote they clearly explained the options and sent a quote very promptly.

"Great product with timber frame and double glazed windows. Woody Man replaced my old single glazed windows for double glazed ones, the finishing is brilliant with gaskets to prevent heat loss, I also had an arched timber window which came out as expected. Finally Dalius and team do a great job in fitting the new windows, removing the old ones, and with minimum disruption. They went out of the way to keep everything clean, and it was a pleasure having them around. Thoroughly recommended."
"Woodyman has been a delight to deal with from start to finish. When we first started debating about timber doors we came across this company. They gave us an initial quote for a door similar to what we wanted which was surprisingly reasonable for such a high quality product that was bespoke. When we finally got the ball rolling and Dalius came to do the official measure we had a slightly different design in mind and it was no problem. The suggestion to use Specialist Glass Company in Sidcup was also a pleasure. The glass they designed for us was truly spectacular. They communicated between themselves to pick up and install which means I did not have to fiddle back and forth with two companies. Gyte did a wonderful job keeping me in touch at all times throughout the process. The work that they post on their website and socials is a true representation of the absolutely beautiful work they do. The installers were a joy to have in the house, professional and tidy. "When my old composite door was showing distinct signs of its age I contacted several companies with a view to a replacement. I knew that I didn’t want another composite door and made enquiries with several companies who specialise in solid wooden doors. I eventually decided to go with Woody Man and am very pleased that I did. "Excellent experience of having three replacement period windows with double glazing in a conservation area in south London. Courteous and efficient service from Dalius throughout with lots of help providing necessary paperwork for the planning permission. On the two-day job, the team kept the place clean and there was minimal noise and disruption. Windows look great and don't need painting."

In addition to replacing the windows Dalius also came to refurbish a couple of windows in my house and did the work free of charge!!. It is gestures like this that restores my faith in humanity. The managing agents for the block of flats recommended another provider and the quote from that provider was at least 15% more expensive with a much longer lead in time and a significant additional cost of scaffolding .I have absolutely no hesitation recommending Dalius and the quality of his workmanship. "What a wonderful and very professional company. We are a listed building, when we got broken into both doors needed to be replaced and due to the decor, I wanted very similar. After a lot of searching, we found Woody Man. Absolutely professional and very prompt, from beginning to end. Upon installation, Dalius and his team were great, clean and polite. Communication with Gyte was excellent. There was one issue with the lock that was completely out of Dalius' control, we wouldn't have noticed but he did and wasn't happy. They had to wait for a part, when it arrived the problem was promptly fixed. The doors are a replica of the original ones, as you can see from the photos the glass matches completely. I really could not be happier or have chosen a better company. I would highly recommend."
