What Is Beading

Beading refers to the narrow strips of wood fixed around the edges of door panels. It serves several purposes:

  • Protects edges from damage and wear over time

  • Hides gaps between door panels or glass inserts

  • Adds visual interest by creating clean lines or decorative patterns

  • Improves door stability by reinforcing joints

Our Options

You can choose 1 of 6 options for your external door panels, either with beading (A-C) or without (D-F).
